Wendy Markowitz

Dr. Wendy Markowitz grew up here in Longview, Texas. After graduating from Hallsville High School, she attended Texas A&M University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering. She then received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Dr. Markowitz completed her residency training in pediatrics at Case Western Reserve’s MetroHealth hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. After four years serving in the Indian Health Service, Dr. Markowitz returned to Longview where she has resided and practiced pediatrics since 2008. She enjoys time with her family and friends, cooking, reading and playing piano and guitar.
