Amy Naugher, PMHNP-BC, has more than 20 years’ experience in the medical field, serving in various roles since 2001. Born and raised in Arkansas, she moved to the Longview area in 2017 and has worked at several healthcare centers serving East Texans and the surrounding areas as a nurse.
While working on her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, Amy was involved in a community project related to the mental health disparities of East Texas. This project sparked a desire for mental health nursing and eventually led to Amy going to school to specialize as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Her goal is to provide excellent, compassionate care to those struggling with mental health issues. Amy earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Herzing University and graduated with honors. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau (Nursing Honors Society) and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
During her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband John, daughter, friends, family and the animals on her farm. She can also be found chasing her 5-year-old godson around.
She also enjoys reading and traveling.
